Due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, patient-care hours are changing week-by-week and patients are encouraged to contact us directly to determine our current status.
Dear patients:
First, please be assured that the health and safety of all our patients and staff is our top priority.Given that this virus event is ever-changing, and each week will look different, we will be taking a week-by-week approach to what we are able to provide to our patients. That said if we have not contacted you to reschedule an existing appointment that means that we are planning to see you as-scheduled. For the upcoming weeks, we will be adjusting our staffing and patient load to accommodate required social distancing while still being open to meet emergency demands and ongoing patient-care needs. While we have always followed stringent infection control protocol in our operatories and common areas, we have implemented additional measures that we are asking all our patients to observe:
Please call our office to reschedule if you have any flu-like symptoms, traveled by air or cruise in the last 2 weeks, have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 and/or are medically compromised (high-risk to contract virus).
Please do not bring siblings, friends, or relatives who do not have a scheduled appointment. Only scheduled patients will be allowed in the treatment and common areas.
Upon arrival for your appointment, we are asking all patients to immediately wash their hands and perform a 1-minute swish with a chlorhexidine oral rinse.
We recognize that this is a time filled with uncertainties for everyone and we want to assure you of our commitment to provide you with the services you depend on. We promise to keep you updated through this dynamic situation, and we look forward to making you smile! Please remember that gum disease is an infection and chronic infection compromises your immune system, so it’s always advisable to avoid gum disease and maintain good oral care.
